Well this morning was Hope's follow up appointment with the allergist. He ruled out the cholinergic uritcaria based on the fact that her last reaction was in the bandroom where she was not hot or overheated (it was in fact, a cool day that day). He thinks it's just a case of 'hives' that will at some point, simmer down.
I asked if maybe hormones might be playing a part in this and he said most definitely. So for now, she is allowed back to P.E. and and cheerleading; although to take it easy since they are still exacerbated by heat, and she is to continue on the Allegra and Atarax for now. He will see her again in 1 month. Oh, and he also said we could stop using the epi pen at the first sign of hives, to just give her one of the antihistamines and save the epi for if the reaction gets severe. Needless to say, she was happy with that!
So a little shopping at Old Navy and Target afterwards for a little girl time, lunch at Steak and Shake and we were back home, where it is yet another glorious day! I can feel fall in the are! :D

It sounds like things are looking up for Hope! She must be relieved that she can hold off on using the epi pen. Keep me updated!
